mEGHAN’S FOCUS
The “why” behind the “what”
Meghan was deeply impacted by several people and circumstances from her developmental years. Her biggest hero is Mr. Fred Rogers; his devotion to helping children and their mental wellbeing through candid and compassionate conversation and in nurturing kindness are guiding tenants in her own work.
As a child, Meghan grew up in a multi-ethnic and cultural home; her father's family (the Halls) came to the US in 1633 and her mother (Shayan) came to the US from Iran in 1977. Growing up among Jews, Christians, Muslims, her American and Persian family provided a richly diverse perspective, with the common features across her ancestry of generosity, compassion, honor and fidelity.
